Squeeze
a
play in two acts

A romantic comedy about
love, investments and ... gunplay(?),
set in a small Southern city during the early 1990s.
Years ago, when I was a stockbroker,
I wrote the majority of this, my only play, on a long week-end
visit to the Vicksburg Battlefield in Mississippi. I know, that's
really weird. But you never know when the muse will strike, and
I've learned to always listen to the muse.
It's based upon real events
the took place during the stock market "crash" of 1988,
but played for laughs.
Playmakers Theatre of Covington,
LA held the World Premere of Short Squeeze on May 1, 1998.
